Cookie Policy

How cookies and similar browser storage are used on our website and account services.

Last updated: September 18, 2026

These terms govern your use of the platform. Please read them carefully and retain a copy for your records.

1. Scope

This Policy covers HTTP cookies, localStorage, and similar browser storage used by our website and account services. We currently use these technologies only for sign-in, security, language, appearance, and features selected by the user, not for cross-site profiling.

2. Sign-in and language cookies

access_token (normally up to 15 minutes) authenticates signed-in requests; refresh_token (normally up to 30 days) renews a sign-in; session (normally up to 30 days) only indicates that the browser may have a signed-in session and is not an authentication credential. These three cookies are set only after sign-in. NEXT_LOCALE (up to one year) remembers the interface language selected by the user or negotiated from the browser.

3. Local browser storage

In localStorage, theme remembers the selected appearance; banner-dismissed remembers the dismissed top-banner version; announcement-dismissed:<id> remembers an announcement the user chose not to see again; and newcloud-playground-selection:<type> remembers the API key ID and model selected in Playground without storing the API key itself. These values are written when the related feature is used or a choice is made.

4. Analytics and advertising tracking

The website currently does not use optional analytics, advertising, marketing, heatmap, or cross-site tracking technologies, so it does not display an optional-cookie consent banner.

5. Service providers

Providers supporting hosting, CDN delivery, security, and payments may process necessary information or set strictly necessary technologies when providing those services. After you follow a payment or other external link, storage on the third-party site is governed by that provider's privacy and cookie notices. This website currently has no client-side integration that allows third parties to set optional analytics or advertising trackers.

6. Duration

Authentication cookies expire according to the periods in section 2; NEXT_LOCALE remains for up to one year; localStorage values remain until the user or browser clears site data, although obsolete announcement versions or feature selections may be ignored. Retention of server-side personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Managing browser storage

You can use browser settings to inspect, delete, or block cookies and site data. Deleting authentication cookies signs you out. Deleting language, appearance, or other functional storage resets those preferences but does not prevent basic browsing. Settings must be managed separately for each browser or device.

8. Updates and contact

If we introduce optional analytics or marketing technologies that require consent, we will provide the relevant controls before enabling them and update this Policy. The date above shows the latest revision. Questions about our use of cookies can be sent through the support channel shown in your account or on the website.
